It is one of the loveliest places I know. What really irks me is that thirty plus years ago my then fiance and I visited the area which at the time had virtually no development. Sitting under a beach umbrella in a cleared paddock was the local estate agent selling off some of the first development lots. We were tempted but there was nothing there and we wanted to buy a house in Perth. For some reason it never occurred to us we could have had both. We've been kicking ourselves ever since it took off.
I love reading and writing Fantasy and Science Fiction and walking the Bibbulmun track. I'm a graduate of Clarion West 2008 and am currently writing a fantasy novel and a thesis on steampunk for my PhD in Creative Writing.
My short stories have been published in Eidolon 29/30, Eidolon 1 Anthology and elsewhere.
